KALIX
KALIX Silica 0-0-30 Potassium Silicate Fertilizer
KALIX Silica 0-0-30 is a soluble potassium silicate fertilizer used to support stronger plant structure, crop resilience, and balanced plant nutrition across soil, coco, hydroponic, greenhouse, indoor, outdoor, and fertigation systems.
Potassium silicate supplies silicon and potassium in one clean input. Silicon supports plant structure and tissue strength, while potassium supports water regulation, enzyme activity, carbohydrate movement, and overall plant performance.
KALIX Silica is especially useful in high-performance growing systems where plants are exposed to fast growth, high light, heat, drought cycles, heavy canopy development, dense planting, or limited root-zone buffering.
Use KALIX Silica as part of a complete nutrition program, not as a standalone fix. Best results come from balanced feeding, proper irrigation, good airflow, healthy roots, correct pH, and consistent monitoring.

HOW TO MIX
Add KALIX Silica to clean water before adding other nutrients.
Mix thoroughly until fully dissolved.
Add remaining nutrients in the proper sequence.
Do not mix concentrated potassium silicate directly with concentrated calcium or magnesium products.
Check EC and pH after the full solution is mixed.
Adjust pH last.
DOSAGE
Liquid Concentrate / Stock Tank
Fill container with 12.5 gallons / 47 L of water.
Add the full contents of one 25 lb bag.
Mix continuously for 5–20 minutes or until fully dissolved.
Warm water may improve dissolution.
Use stock solution at 1–4 mL per 4 L / 1 gallon of final feed solution.
Direct Reservoir / Feed Tank
Apply 0.25–0.5 g per 4 L / 1 gallon of final feed solution.
Mix thoroughly before applying.
Monitor EC and pH before use.
IMPORTANT USE NOTES
Potassium silicate can raise pH.
Always dilute KALIX Silica in water before adding calcium or magnesium products.
Count the potassium contribution as part of the total feed program.
Do not overapply in potassium-heavy feeding programs.
Start conservatively when introducing potassium silicate into an existing nutrition plan.

FAQ
What is KALIX Silica?
KALIX Silica is a 0-0-30 soluble potassium silicate fertilizer that supplies 30% Soluble Potash and supports plant structure, resilience, and balanced nutrition.
What is potassium silicate used for in plants?
Potassium silicate is used to supply silicon and potassium. Growers use it to support stronger stems, plant structure, and stress resilience as part of a complete nutrition program.
Can KALIX Silica be used in hydroponics?
Yes. KALIX Silica can be used in hydroponic reservoirs and fertigation systems. Add it to clean water first, mix thoroughly, then add other nutrients in sequence. Check EC and pH before use.
Can KALIX Silica be used in coco?
Yes. KALIX Silica can be used in coco and soilless growing systems. Coco growers should monitor calcium, magnesium, potassium, EC, and pH carefully.
Can KALIX Silica be used as a foliar spray?
Yes, KALIX Silica may be used as a foliar application when appropriate. Test on a small area before broad application and avoid spraying under high heat, intense light, or stressful conditions.
Does KALIX Silica replace calcium?
No. KALIX Silica does not replace calcium. Silicon supports plant structure, but calcium remains essential for cell wall development, root growth, and plant function.
Why should KALIX Silica be added first?
Potassium silicate is alkaline and can react with concentrated calcium or magnesium products. Adding KALIX Silica to clean water first helps reduce compatibility problems.
